Duccio in the Morning

Badness is banished from the toy city. Our homes are too small for us to live in but we live in them nonetheless.

Hopefully you can see this picture? The devil is not a good house guest. He befouls your furniture.

I can't believe the lead singer of Boston is dead. Sadness. More than a feeling is one of my favorite songs ever.

Today's goal: jump in the Hudson.

I can't figure out how to get back to somewhere that feels unstuck.

This is an alllegory of living in the village in the 21st century. Christ is the bouncer at one of those befouled clubs for the rich and wannabe bridge and tunnel crowd that actually made enough money selling aging-daddy's stock-option trust funds to afford their "design within reach" tiny apartments and Armani exchange threads. Christ is actually giving the little devil directions to a swank sex club for middle aged naturists.

Don't get me wrong, that Duccio painting is amazing, truly unruly. Space time issues like no other, and those blue rock mountains, soooooo synthetic. I just hadn't had any coffee at the time of my comment and the New New York Slime kept me up all night with their clik-clakky heels and inane banter.
This painting is at the Frick, right, Mountain Man?
I love the Frick.
Frickity-Dick.
