Attention, attention!!! Mountain Man was busy yesterday at the armory. He went with Beth and their friend Gertrude. He was getting bored by the second pier. He was starting to drool. So he made up a game called C*NT ALERT where he would yell C*NT ALERT whenever he saw a C*NT. People would look askance but it gave Mountain Man reason to chuckle every time. He found 14 C*NTS.
Sadly, there was not much in the way of nice art to view. Lots of small drawings and mediocre crap. Mountain Man and his small but fierce posse started with a way positive and tolerant attitude. But there was not much to reward him. He saw some Jockum Nordstrum drawings that made him happy. And a few owls here and there to remind him of magic.

I thought it was CRAP ON A CRACKER! Tons of boring. But it was fun to see all the rich people posturing. I like to snear.
It was also fun to see the dealers so tired and in need of good moisturizers. They seemed vulnerable. But it is a bad place for artists. Especially if you are not in it. It just makes jealousy and competition. I am a jealous and competitive bitch.
I don't think you're a bitch. Just honest that's all. Nothing wrong with that in my book. I am also honest. That is why I pay attention to the C*unts. Most men pretend not to notice. Not me. Some might call my honesty compulsive. I call it good for you.
I ALWAYS notice the cunts. But I am afraid to say so. Thank you for helping me to be more lewd.
My butler and I were amazed to see the dampening fever pelt of the armory in full effect yesterday too! It turns even the in-other-contexts nice art into dull, unattractive things that make little sense. There was too much crowding of the ideas. It was like a science fair. too many badges and eager faces. My butler was being a trickster all day nibbling on dealers, causing welts. He also noticed the c's, and the teddy bears with weenies out.
it is hateful to admit, but the inka essenhigh painting at victoria miro was a huge disappointment. i fear for her waning skills. perhaps her fairy butler has departed? i saw that leaky teddy bear too. i wanted to climb all over him and kiss him. that's how i am.
anonymous, I saw the inka E. painting too. It worried me because I admire her and wish her all the success in the world.
Also was weirded out by all the Marcel D. greeting cards. THE MARKET IS FLOODED! Hold back or your work will lose WORTH. That is my advice to you lucky boy.
wayyy too many greeting cards. A problem. The IE painting is worrisome. It was almost anti-art. People approached baffled and then ran away. Missteps are allowed though. My butler is working on this issue - - restoring the magic. Let's hope for the best and that the anti-art magnetism is not contagious. I stepped very close to it.
i too am fearful of the greeting cards. and the general stew of little, minor works at the fair. the greed was palpable.
and as to miss i.e., i believe in her powers. i think she is capable of great paintings, maybe this was a transition. i am happy that she is not afraid to change her work some and take risks, unlike the greeting card artist.
I liked the Inka Essenhigh painting. I think she is amazing. It was ugly and disturbing in a good way.

Inka is one of my favorites.
