Rest and Better Understanding

I am going to put myself in the soft and caring mesh of this sling for a few hours today, to fully meditate on life and "the things that matter." I am wearing a track suit, not dissimilar from the one this lady is wearing, for maximum comfort. I do not want to be distracted by matters of the body when I am contemplating intangible concepts. I may write a tract later, documenting my understanding of reality in the most rational terms. I will wait here until it is time to move.

I salute you from my mesh sling.

For Those About To Rock, I am rocking back and forth in honor of you. I am sorry to not have made myself clearer. How many of you are there?

panning for gold and sitting in my sling all day we muster the courage to consider the stucture of an atom. it is like a coon skin cap.

I never thought of it that way.

Kisses to you hillbillies.

there are only three of us who are about to rock. Some, like you MM, already rock. Most will never rock.

We do not salute them.

Yes, relax Hams. I will feed you MM stew from a baby spoon while you rest in the mesh sling.

I saw the Van Gogh and Fra Angelico shows today. WOW. WOWOWOWOWOWOWOOW. So fun. Esp. the ink landscape drawings of VG. Very ecstatic and angry. Very gnarled and studious but impatient. Great. Great halos from the sky. And halos aplenty in Fra Angelico, glowing intense colors and another kind of ecstasy. So many beauties. Amazing to see them as objects, painted right on the wood. I can't explain very well now. Maybe later. I got a little weepy with the Fra Angelicos.

i like the floating girl, like a nice virgin chelsea clinton. my fangs grow

Mountain Man said...

Bite her with your fangs. She is too innocent, too placid. I want to decaptitate her and watch the purposeful bloody spews. Just like Fra Angelico. Time to die.

she is filthy stale and dusty on the inside, however I salivate enough to balance her dessert. die bitch die!

They are symbolic, these wounds and pokes. Symbolic of spiritual hunger and the urgent swine of the night.I am palpitating. Angry-hungry.

I was gonna got to the MET today and instead went to MOMA. The Redon show was full of little gems. The Murray show was interesting. I have very much respect for her, although did not like many of the paintings from the 90's.

Anonymous said...

Can't wait to see Redon. Tell more. Also Memling, must must see.

I am the PENIS OF MISAPPREHENSION!!!!!!

My dampness is infected like pus. I am dying.

Lots of prints and drawings. Spooky and magical, but dark. Then a small room of paintings--flowers and such. Beautiful.

Anonymous said...

i am eating pork before the pie.

Anonymous said...

PD, did you swoon? Were you happy? Or were there too many peeps. I found that there were less peeps at Fra Angelico which helped me to feel more into the work.

Anonymous said...

Salty.

Anonymous said...

Three peeps! The show did not officially open. My friend is a member so we got a very peaceful preview.

I did swoon. A small show with lots of magic--i'd say. My only wish was to see more paintings--less prints.

Anonymous said...

You lucky little p-diddly duck. Sounds delightful.

Anonymous said...

Cuts on the back of the girl in the sling. She deserves a swift severing.

Anonymous said...

I can't wait for Van Gogh! And my paisan--Fra.

Anonymous said...

I am ready for dissonance!
