Favorite Drawings

Botticelli's map of hell, Leonard Da Vinci's deluge, and Vincent Van Gogh (I am going to see the drawing show at the Met this week, can't wait). These are the drawings I am thinking of. Client preparation is channeling all my energies to looking and reading and talking about art, which, in spite of the tubular draining of my time and energy, is feeding me back in another way. I am starting another blog as a remedial clearinghouse for art info - all of the stuff I forgot and needed to remind myself, the things I never knew and was too embarrassed to admit - I thought it would be fun to have a place to put all articles, quotes, images, information in order to not lose track of it. It will be like the art 101 blog. I will let you know when I have more on it, I hope you will visit.

Hi to you and good morning. My head is made of teflon and my eyes are made of shiny bridge tokens today. I am the man of the metal mountain today. It is a girding.

Aren't there little people running along those giant rungs of hell?

Good morning MM! wow, the drawings. I got excited when I saw the first one then I scrolled down and saw the van gogh. What a nice treat!

you are the bestest, mostest.

I like the alternate blog idea. It is a good memory clearinghouse.

hi mm! i miss. i am DYING to see the van gogh drawings. i love him more every passing year. he was startling gifted, almost scary.

today i am part tin (heated over tires), part fluff, part nitrous. it is a 45 - 10 - 45 percentage. i feel the gas element taking me far today.

please tell us more about your art101 blog when you are ready. can we contribute?

It is hallucinatory how good these drawings are. I am making a project for myself to study the leonardo deluge drawings more intensely. They are jammed up with so many different types of marks it drives me bonkers. And the van Gogh...I mean, what the hell? How could a drawing be that good? I couldn't believe it was his. I cannot wait to see the show. There is so much good stuff up in the museums right now. Soon there will be Redon too. He is very magical to me.

FB how is the tin-fluff-nitrous combo working for you at this point in the day?

Hi to PD Sloth Krix Hams and Corns. It is soupy to consider you all together.

This evening I must venture upstairs to the house of my weird neighbor for a buildingwide meeting with a fireman. In case of fire we should know what to do. And then the fireman comes to each apt. & tells us where to place smoke detectors. It should be fascinating and an evening well spent.

i am an exploding dirigible at this point. I AM ON FIRE!! maybe i should meet with the firemen later also?

You must always be ready MM. Damian and I keep a grinder with cut off wheels to cut open the burgler bars in case of fire. I suggest a group hug tonight, then falling exercises and a seance. then light a fire on the roof to begin a hothouse energy ritual for cleansing and testosterone alternative motion detection. That is, if one's chemical makeup shifts, the fireplace rooftop benefits will be available to tenents.

That sounds interesting, Ham, but honestly what I want is to never have to touch my neighbors in any way.

Anonymous said...

I understand. white gloves?

MM, a fire in your house is a terrible thing to contemplate. Your toast would become blackened and charred, and your magnificence of hair... singed!? Oh, shudders -- how awful that would be. Perhaps you should pre-dose your locks in fire retardent just to be on the safe side.

Sloth you are right. I am beginning the douse ritual, thinking of the hothouse which is better kept to my mind's eye. I will don the white gloves of anti-bacterial protection before confronting my neighbors. I am looking to detect testosterone, as you say Ham, and I think I will try to burn it with my laser eyes that look like bridge tokens, with less shine than this morning. I am matte instead of shiny.

I would like to crush my neighbor with her own piano. If I had to make contact to perform the task, I would do it. Then I would take an axe to finish off the piano.

Anonymous said...

I would also like to choke my other neighbor. I would use my axe to pulverize his raging stereo.

sloth said...

Hammy, have you noticed that "stereo" and "Sterno" are very, very close in spelling?

Anonymous said...

Sterno as in type of fuel, sloth?

sloth said...

exactly! as in the sentence: "I am pouring Sterno on your stereo."

Anonymous said...

I have many plans for him before I move. One involves a tiny opening in a tuna can.
Sterno is a lovely fantasy. I like it very much!

Harm will come to those who wish violence on their neighbors. Step carefully.

Anonymous said...

It happened to me already and will keep happening. The palpitations of crying wolves keep coming and coming. The witnesses have curdled and shrunken like raisins, there is no rope of interest to tie around the necks of others whose contact is desirable. Please help.

I left my communion less than holy. I am thinking of teen age cutters, brownies, pressure points. I am seething with the transparency of horror movies. Wishing an eye had been stabbed in my midst in order to have something to solve. I am thinking of afterimages and pizza parties. It is time to burrow back in time to the solid gold dance party of the night.

I have a warm embrace to share.

Anonymous said...

Hash brownies and finger removal are on the menu. with a sprinkling of Webelos.

Anonymous said...

Finger pie, splinter, a pie filled with the removed digits of our neighbors. Let us dance. Let us pray. Let us drink sugary waters.

Anonymous said...

Webelos are the misfortune of the scout scurge. I am heavy-lidded and swaying towards the deepest sleeps.

I am waiting for the little toy soldiers to find me.

Anonymous said...

I am not a soldier but I am toy and I believe I see your tail peeking out from underneath the fog canopy. Hi.

A hearty mixed up hello this morning. It is fiery in the coma of my mouth. Today is for purging and cleaning, a mixture of love and hate, time and timelessness.
