Death on a Pale Horse

Continuation of yesterday's jaunty theme. By William Blake. Picturing doom is the style of the morning, after unfortunate mishaps and eruptions of the night. It is not baleful, it is dynamic, as the possibilities for transformation exist. My advice to you: stop eating the meats at a certain point. They do you no good. The alarm bell of beeps is sounding in my inner ear. The ground is coming up from underneath. Consider that I am trying to smile.

Whilst Hummus may do the same, and the shellfish are quagmirious, yes it is true that the meats do the most violent eruptions cause. Smile through it all, greeet the morning with three e's, and click the clacker off the inner bell.

MM: Did it work? Was I in your dream serving Philly Cheesesteaks last night and saying: "Say wot, wot"? Is that why you are cutting back on the meat?

    ReplyDelete
  5. I want to cuts back the meat too. Does that have to include human flesh?

  6. Man I love that Billy Blake. seeign this image first thing in the AM is helpful for setting the days tone. MM your top drawer.

  7. MM, thank you for the beautiful Blake!!! Every inch of it is stunning... love the sky-feathers.

You're so right about meats - best to stick to the traditional sloth-diet of leaves and the occasional grub. However there is sometimes an irresistable urge to tear into something's flesh.

Meats do not include human flesh, Corny, Sloth, you are still free to cannibalize. Watch your intake of the succulent stuff from under the arm, though. It's rough on the way out.

PD, you got my top drawer. You got it.

Today I gotst the shakes like an epileptic. Why? Meats? Oddity in the tum? A small troll inside? Bad dreams? PD I did not see you in my dreams. A cheesesteak would have been welcome.

  19. sloth, the noodle imagery is constantly in front of my eyes. the noodles are like campbell's noodles. the nose is spider-veined and bulbous with oily boils.

  23. PD, I am finding that if you chew raw pasta dough instead of the soup you can make your own spaghetti... I wish Julia Child was alive to try this one. She would be up for it.

    ReplyDelete
  24. sloth, are you making the spaghetti for yourself to enjoy in your own mouth or is there a semi-regurgitation process? do you chew it into the spaghettis and spit back out onto the place, THEN cover with sauce and bile juices, heat and serve? i am just wondering? What kind of pasta does expulsion through the nasal cavities make? not those tiny ear shaped pastas. maybe booger pasta? with cream sauce?

Hi fellow nuggets. Did you know or did you not know that it's time to die? I have to finish my homework first. I am a buddy of everything.

  33. ginger ale and crakers, MM, to simmer it down. Ultimately, parasite purge? The alien wants OUT. Blake trips me out. I admit I don't quite get him.

It's hard to explain why I think Blake is so great. Awkward, visionary, intense, muscular, symbolic, big ideas, strange format, kind of wrong - all of my favorite things in one. I am working on a little powerpoint presentation for my drawing class right now. My brain should be in better shape. Maybe untangle some of the knots first, stretch them out. Then I will be able to speak properly.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Anonymous5:45 PM

Mountain, much sun in Shibari. Many luck of self exist inside this format. Constrict, exhale with mind, clear. Knots bring wish.

  36. Hmmm, makes a lot of sense, the way you put it. I'll take another look with fresh, reinspired eyes.

  37. Anonymous5:50 PM

Well Sushi I never. I didn't realize you were into that type of thing. I thought you more celestial, less body-oriented. Huh.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Anonymous5:52 PM

It's so weird, my knees smell like soup.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Anonymous6:02 PM

Dirk most tangle brings clear. Many knots need tying. Stars inside; the body is sun.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Anonymous6:08 PM

Stars inside. I believe you are right Sushi. Knots on the inside too. Limbs are also for tangling, as are guts. Brains. Digits. Hair. Whatever. Tangle it all up and make a mash, serve it lukewarm under healing fluorescent light, the healing drop ceiling. Office type situation. There is a banter between inside and out, a freshness, a clefting, a twaining, see?

I also love Blake, he is curious. MM, why do you call yourself MM?

    ReplyDelete
  42. Anonymous6:15 PM

    Because he is yummy.

Also, Blake = energy at the joints, always in motion = good.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Anonymous6:36 PM

Blake was an excellent hater. Have you read his comments on Reynolds, Gainsborough, Rosa, and Rubens?

    ReplyDelete
  44. Anonymous6:42 PM

Martin, I have and I love them. They are in the Grove book, correct? I think Blake is a total genius.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Anonymous6:43 PM

There is something so fabulous about reading about someone's inner aversions and passionate hatreds. Especially him. He is so emotional. Love.

  46. MM, Good luck to you with the wizards, you are an orb of light, brilliant like the sun and will blind them with beauty and impress them with your skilz. A wise old wizard once told me to be as rude as possible when meeting other wizards, they like that sort of gamesmanship. Depressing or liberating? Hearts MM

    ReplyDelete
  47. Anonymous7:04 PM

Dear Corny, thanks for your kind wishes and thoughts. Unfortunately it is not in MM's nature to be rude in this way that you mention. MM likes to be friendly, as much as he likes to punch you in the kidney. It's complicated, see? But this is good advice you are sharing. Next time I will use it more forcefully. Love and hate are in the air, both at the same time, and it is a powerful steamy soup of flailing behavior.
